Current status of homeschooling in Texas:

star Excellent! No state regulation.

star The Texas Constitution gives its legislature jurisdiction over the public free schools only.

star The Texas Education Code further specifies that these are state tax funded educational institutions.

Texas law clearly shows that
TAX FUNDING means REGULATION.

Any organization claiming to be about preserving your liberty to educate your children at home free from state interference yet at the same time hiding the above information from you is not what it claims to be.

Those truly interested in preserving liberty and parental responsibility will not be...

...telling you that laws apply to you when they don't

... encouraging homeschooler participation in tax funded government programs.

...pounding the pavement in Austin trying to get unconstitutional legislation passed

...seeking to make homeschoolers a special-interest group

...doing anything else to lead home educators into the waiting arms of state regulation

You have already questioned and rejected the idea that self-appointed 'experts' will somehow raise your children better than you can.

Isn't it high time to question whether the self-appointed homeschooling 'experts' will defend your liberty better than you can???
